Quality Huacaya Alpacas
Grand Mesa Alpacas is nestled on the south slope of the Grand Mesa in western Colorado at 6500 feet elevation. With mild temperatures and good clean air, we raise premium alpacas both for their fleece, and the quality of the animal itself. Our goal is to provide animals and services of a very high standard in promoting our wonderful industry.
Colorado has long been known for having some of the finest alpaca farms in the nation. While most of those farms are located on the eastern slope of the Rocky Mountains, we are located on the western slope in a relatively temperate climate mountain setting.
Our Huacaya alpaca herd has heritage stemming from such notable ranches as Snowmass, Champion, and Heartland just to name a few. We know that you will appreciate the quality of our animals, and hope to see you in the near future on a visit to our ranch.
