The reason for our low prices is very simple. Our goal is to reduce our herd to about 12 animals, and we've found that normal marketing at prices that were common three to five years ago just doesn't get the job done. These are very fine animals, all in excellent healthy and worthy of the show ring with multiple ribbon winners. More importantly, they represent a fine breeding herd that is vital to producing animals that would be very competitive with large ranches which we've taken Color Champion Ribbons from two of the biggest ranches in the country. With Lucinda's continued travel for her work and Bruce's consulting job that now has him traveling to Canada and Wyoming spending full days working, there's not enough time to devote to raising a large herd. The decision was hard to take such a huge loss in this business where we've dedicated years of hard work in building it to the quality business it is today. Our obvious loss, your obvious gain.
